When I was studying philosophy a friend of mine gave me this novel of Jean-Paul Sartre.
For more than six years it stayed on my bookshelf, untouched.
The book is about Mathieu, a young man around his thirties, who is obsessed with the idea of freedom. He finds himself in a decisive period of his life and has to deal with the conflict of himself and his surroundings in his search for a way to remain free.
At a certain point I decided to read it and rule out every sentence that does not contain my name.
